On an average, three of five Southwest University students receive tuition-based benefits / financial assistance from the Federal Government which include Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Special Focus
Southwest University provides distinguished faculty to work with students in Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Certificate Programs. Personalized caring service continues to be our hallmark. Open enrollment, affordable tuition and interest free payments have been and continue to be beneficial to students throughout the past thirty years.
Most Southwest University students are referred by other Southwest students and graduates. The University is committed to the success of each student.

Programs and Tuition
Tuition stated represents per credit hour. Each course is three (3) semester hours credit.
Applicants pay $75 application fee. Enrolled students pay $200 registration / enrollment fee, $125 graduation fee, and postage/handling for each mailing.
Textbooks and Study Guides are provided to all active duty military students, utilizing TA benefits, through Southwest University’s Book Grant Program.
Students utilizing VA benefits, non-military and students enrolling per course are responsible for textbooks and Study Guides. Students may purchase textbooks through their own resources. Study Guides must be purchased from Southwest University.
